How does the mentoring breakfast work?

Applicants who are selected will be invited:

· Participate in a special mentoring breakfast on Saturday, April 9th, 8:30-11:00 A.M. You will participate in a round-table mentoring discussion with an assigned mentor from the Committee of 100 membership based on your career interests.

· Attend our Saturday panels and luncheon following the breakfast, entitled the “Impact of Chinese Adoptees on U.S. Culture” moderated by Lisa Ling and “APA Congressional Staffers: Views from the Inside” featuring some of Washington’s influential Asian Pacific Americans.

Application Deadline: EXTENDED!!! – MARCH 30th, 2005

Acceptance Notification: Applicants selected to participate in the mentoring breakfast will be notified by e-mail no later than April 4th, 2005.

Registration: Those receiving notification will be required to confirm their registration by April 6th, 2005 with an advance registration fee of $25 for current students, $35 for young professionals. The fee covers participation in both the breakfast and the Annual Conference proceedings on that day.

What are the selection criteria?

· Age Requirement: You must be a college student, a graduate student or a young professional
· Demonstrated Leadership Ability
· Career Goals
